Higher Learning....

They say education is supposed to makes us better people, and help in pushing forward the current state of mankind. Yet here I am in an institution where personally I feel I was smarter and more intelligent than when I joined. My mind has been numbed by tons of irrelevant information, outdated and dumb lecturers with no way out and no one to save me. My mind is trapped in a world full of intellectual zombies with no way whatsoever of thinking outside the box. No challenges worth of my intellect are in sight. My mind is thirsty as I wander this intellectual wasteland in search of an oasis where I can quench it with the refreshing waters from the fountain of knowledge. Till then I will cling on to whatever is left of my overstretched hope, losing myself to the world of Hugo, Dostoevsky, Dickens and George Eliot finding peace in the meadows of Middlemarch, the streets of St Petersburg, and taking long walks with little Nell as we cross fictional countrysides of fictional lands. When you see me and I am unable to place a quote from T. S Eliot please do not blame me, my mind was murdered in Laikipia university a useless and dumb institution of higher learning as its name sounds.
